This is my sixth year of summer camp and it never gets old. We play gym game like dodgeball and circle of life. We have arts and crafts, snack time and inside activities. My favorite part of summer camp is Friday's because we get to watch Veggie Tale movies and theme days.

So I've been coming here for, like, forever. And that's one of the best things; you can come every summer for a million years or so! And every summer people are always asking, "Wow, haven't you gotten bored with it yet?" And you never do! It's crazy, but it just keeps getting better. Dodgeball is definately my favorite, by far. Along with pretty much every other person who goes here. And even if you aren't exactly the best player in the whole wide world, don't worry! I swear it's always the little kids that always get me out. Like NICK. But he mainly gets Becca out. :) And who could forget SWIM TIME?? Oh, that's also incredibly fun. You can bring your swimsuit and towel and sunscreen and whatever else you'd like to bring, and we go out to the blow-up pool in the back and splash around.

I have been coming here for so many years that I can't remember not coming. It is impossible to remember a sumer with out freezer pops, dodge ball, or bible time. No matter what you like to do there is something for you at OLR. We play sports in the gym. Mostly dodgeball which would be the official sport of OLR summer camp, if OLR sumer camp had an official sport. We have, of course, bible time. This is, after all, a religious camp. I can't complain though, I love bible time. There are video games too, for when we have indoor activities, and I should probably take the time here to mention that I am not very good at said video games. There is also a pool table and an air hockey table that you can use too, or if you like, you can just hang around with your friends and maybe play cards. Then there are also the councilors who are incredibly nice. The camp is just so much fun that you have to come and try it. I promise you won't want to leave.

Wow! It's amazing how many years I've been attending OLR Summer Camp! There are too many to count! The camp is so much fun. If you've never come before, everyone will tell you how welcoming and excited people are to see new faces here. There are plenty of fun activities for the kids to play. Some of those are: Gym activities, and (one of my personal favorites) air hockey! We also have a pool table, computer time (with appropriate websites only), art time, appropriate video games, Bible time, Rosary Club, morning and afternoon orientation, reading time, and so much more! Of course you must have been told a million times that the leading sport here is dodgeball. Everyone enjoys it and it's great exercise for both the younger and older children. To make all the sports we play as safe as possible we used soft foam dodge balls. Now if you're not as coordinated as others we do have coloring pages and card games. We do have fun Fridays, which are days when you can dress up according to its theme, or you can just wear normal clothing. Also on Fridays we have visitors from the Boonshoft Museum of Discovery. They teach us about educational things like nutrition and animals. The camp also towards the end of the day has a pool time for younger and older kids. We make water balloons, and play with squirt guns. If you like magic tricks then camp is the place to be. Mr. Roalef, the camp's wonderful and friendly program director, has a magic club that he provides for anyone to go to. We have an enthusiastic and energetic staff here 24/7 to take care of any needs for your children. OLR Camp provides a clean, safe, and most importantly, fun environment. This camp is a great place to be for the young and old. You'll definitely be impressed the first time you walk through our doors. I hope you have a most enjoyable time here! :)
